Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith ਨਮੂਨਾ

When we look at the days passing by, seemingly a waste of time, let us remember Joseph and take heart. This young man spent the prime years of his life as a slave and in prison. Having to be in lockdown, can give us an inkling of what it means to be in prison – forcibly kept within four walls. I wonder whether he felt that his time was being spent productively. He had no idea of the coming famine or the fact that he would be made second to Pharaoh. Yet, in those long, torturous years, God was working out His plan. Those years in prison were not wasted time, but actually preparation for bearing great fruit. We may not see it now, but we can trust our heavenly Father. One day we will look back and say that what was meant for evil, God turned for good. And we will rejoice that He has made us fruitful even in this time of suffering.
Pray:
• That we will exchange the spirit of heaviness for a garment of praise.
• Praise God that His thoughts and His ways are higher and better than ours.
• That God will increase faith, trust, and love in His Church.
