Who You Say I Am – Part 2ਨਮੂਨਾ

When a person has lost their pet they will do everything to find it. Signs are posted all over the neighbourhood with a picture of the pet and a phone number to call if you’ve seen it. They will drive around the streets calling their pet’s name, asking everyone they come across if they may have seen where their pet has gone. They’ll call every vet and city ‘lost pet’ phone number. They will never give up; they’ll keep searching until their beloved pet has come home.
The Bible tells us that God searches for the lost. God searches for the lost and doesn't give up until they are found. He longs for those who are lost and wants them to return home to Him. Jesus told stories about lost things - a lost coin that a woman searches high and low to find and a lost son who returned home to his father's embrace. In each story there was such joy and celebration when lost things and lost people were found. God searches for lost people who are far off from knowing His love and when they are found all of heaven rejoices. I am who God says I am, and God says I am found.
Read today’s verses and discover how God feels about lost people.
