Cheap Grace

Cheap grace is the idea that you can keep sinning because God will just forgive you and give you grace.

Have you ever done that? There’s something you really want to do, but you know you shouldn’t. Then you convince yourself to do it anyway because you’ll just ask for forgiveness later.

That’s cheap grace. And it’s no excuse to keep on doing things we know we shouldn’t be doing.

When we are truly under God’s grace, it actually causes us to want to do the right thing and stop sinning.
