Peter makes it clear that no one knows when Jesus will return for His Church. All that we know is that at the time of His return, there will be a total transformation of the earth. So Peter urges believers to walk in holiness and godliness until then since these temporary things on the earth will pass away. Peter reminds believers to remain vigilant looking for the day of Jesus’ return and the promise of righteousness when He begins His reign. Do you treat each day as if Jesus will return?
