Love God Greatly - 1 & 2 Peterਨਮੂਨਾ

Peter addresses the believer’s role as a foreigner here on earth. Christians are to be model citizens, reflecting proper respect for everyone, including those in authority over them. God has all power and all authority, and He entrusts roles of leadership to individuals in the family, the church, the workplace, and the government. The orderliness we find in structures of authority reflects the order of God’s own nature. Peter states that by respecting authority, believers silence those who see them as a threat. Although, believers are given freedom, our first service is to God and then to the authority He places us under.
How does your submission to authority in your church, in your home, at your workplace, in your home, and to the government reflect God? Do you pray for those in authority over you?
