This Bible-in-a-Year guide is designed to walk you through the Scriptures in a rhythm of five days of reading five chapters daily, followed by two days to reflect, pray, and catch up as needed. 

At Alive City Church, we believe that God speaks powerfully through His Word, guiding each of us to discover our unique purpose in Jesus.

Do Something Beautiful - A 5 Day Devotional

Deeper into Scripture is a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God’s Word daily and deeply. To accomplish this we have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times. Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered. This repetitive reading and instruction takes us deeply into the Word of God and draws us closer to Him.

Deeper Into Scripture: Mark

Although the Ten Commandments were given thousands of years ago, the wisdom and guidance God imparted to Moses through them at Mount Sinai still speaks to our modern lives. Far from being outdated rules, these commandments reveal God’s heart for justice, love, and holiness. They guide our relationships—with Him and with others—and challenge us to live with integrity in a world of shifting values. Are these ancient divine edicts still relevant in a world so different from that which the Israelites experienced? Absolutely! This four-day devotional will explore just how and why.
