Emoties zijn onderdeel van ons leven. Ze hebben een signaalfunctie waarna we in actie komen. Mooi gemaakt. Toch heb ik soms het gevoel dat die signaalknop ingedrukt blijft, ik blijf me boos, of angstig voelen, ook als ik daar vanaf wil. Wat moet ik daarmee? Hoe zorg ik dat de emoties niet mij in mijn greep houden maar dat ze functioneel blijven? En wat leert de Bijbel ons hierover?

John's gospel can be broken into four parts: an Introduction (John 1:-1:18), the Book of signs (1:19-12:50), the Book of exaltation (13:1-20:31) and an Epilogue (chapter 21). In this Seven Day study we will study the 7 “Signs” of Jesus, and the 7 “I AM" statements of Jesus, to demonstrate that John structured his book in a way that helps the reader see that Jesus fulfills the ministry of Elisha.

Too many of us walk through life feeling as if we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough.
