Later in the chapter, we see the cursing of the fig tree, cleansing of the temple, and the authority of Jesus being challenged. All of these events are important to the ministry of Jesus. We will take a deeper look into these as we continue reading this week. Take time in prayer asking the Lord to prepare your heart for this week's readings.
