Rejoicing in Hope
Romans 5:5a
And this hope will never disappoint us.
Hope is a feeling of expectation for a certain thing to happen. To have hope is important because hope shows us how to act and it keeps us going no matter how hard the situation is.
God says our hope in Him will never disappoint us. This kind of hope relies upon God’s power, His promises and His sacrifice, instead of our own capabilities. This kind of hope will never disappoint because it completely depends on His greatness. When we put our hope in God, we will never find ourselves be put to shame because His love for us is perfect.
On the other hand, if you put your hope in certain things or people, they might disappoint you because no one is perfect and everything in this world is just temporary.
Let us put our hope in the goodness and greatness of God. Let’s rejoice!
Prayer
Dear God, I can live my days joyfully because I have hope in You that will never disappoint me. I will rejoice in You always! Amen.
