Jesus teaches Nicodemus

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

God’s sacrifice of love for us is so great, that we shall not perish. Have we truly believed and loved God with all our hearts and with all our strength?
