Be a Fighter

Marriage is a fight. You can either choose to fight WITH your spouse or AGAINST your spouse. Our ultimate example is Jesus. Jesus was a fighter. In fact, He fought to the death for us. There was no torture, humiliation, sacrifice, frustration, or agony He wasn't willing to endure so that we could have a relationship with Him. On top of all that, it was actually us (mankind) that did this to Him! When we grow tired & weary, we ought to remember how hard Jesus fought for us and determine to be someone who never gives up.

Take a few minutes this morning to thank Jesus for His sacrifice and ask Him to strengthen you to be a fighter.
