What Is My Calling?ഉദാഹരണം

Serving the Lord with joy
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness Come into His presence with singing!” (Psalm 100:1-2 ESV)
Psalm 100 does not mention the word “calling.” But this song exhorts us to do what we humans were made to do: To serve God with joy. This is not a task for a select few. “All the earth” is involved in this.
What does “serving the Lord” consist of in this Psalm? It is about rejoicing, coming to Him with joyful singing and praising His Name. Does this exuberant, joyful tone fit the word “serve”? Yes, it does when it is about serving our good God. He wants the best for us.
John Piper, a man who has devoted his life to serving God for many years, describes it this way, “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”
Serving the Lord is not always easy. Sometimes it requires us to make choices that are hard on us or provoke negative reactions from others. But that does not outweigh the joy and peace we will experience when we dedicate ourselves completely to God.
Do you experience joy in your life? What role does your relationship with the Lord God play in this? How could you grow in this respect?
