Day 17: Curious Restorative Purposes at the Trap of Offense

Devotional

Conflict often leads us into the trap of offense, but God's purposes in those moments are redemptive, not destructive. He aims to deliver us from offense, transform us through it, restore broken relationships, and destroy the enemy’s influence. While offense tempts us to justify our hurt or cling to bitterness, God uses it to reveal our hearts, invite us to repentance, and shape us into Christlike peacemakers. Offense is a crossroads—will we let it harden us or allow God to redeem it? At the Peacefire, God turns traps into treasure by rewriting our stories through grace.

Reflection Question:
Is there an offense in your life that God might be using to transform you, restore a relationship, or reveal His greater purpose?

Prayer:
Lord, help me recognize the traps of offense and respond not with pride or blame, but with humility and faith. Deliver me, change me, restore what’s broken, and use my obedience to destroy the enemy’s grip. Teach me to see conflict through Your eyes and to pursue peace with Your heart. Amen.
