Though Acts ends with Paul in prison, three of his letters, plus the writings of a first-century Christian named Clement suggest that Paul was released (yay!). During this time he resumed his travels, which eventually led him to the island of Crete. The Cretans had a reputation for unruly behavior. Yet, no one is too tough for Jesus! After establishing churches on the island, Paul turned to his trusted coworker, Titus, to help set the church in order and set up godly leadership.
