His Goodness Never Runs Out

Scripture:

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5 NIV

Reflection:

We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more. More money, more success, more stuff. And no matter how much we get, it never quite feels like enough. That’s because when our focus is always on what we don’t have, anxiety grows and peace disappears.

But God offers a different kind of security. One that isn’t tied to what’s in our hands, but to who walks with us.

He promises: “I will never leave you.”

His presence is our provision.

His faithfulness is our stability.

He never runs out of mercy, grace, kindness, or care.

True contentment isn’t having everything. It’s knowing that in every season, you have Him, and that’s more than enough.

What’s something you’ve been chasing or worrying about lately? Ask the Holy Spirit: In what way might God be inviting me to rest in His provision instead?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for never leaving me. Help me feel Your nearness today. Amen.

Practical Tip:

When you find yourself feeling like you don’t have enough, look for something that you can give to someone else. Someone who may need it more than you do. Move in the opposite direction of lack, and be generous.
