USE YOUR GIFTS

God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!

While God has given all of us skills and gifts we can share, sometimes we carry them out with the wrong motivation. It could be we want approval or to clear our name when we feel guilty for things we can't control. Or maybe we have the best intentions, but the outcome is negative. When this happens, we can become discouraged. Instead of carrying on with what's right, we give up instead.

For today's challenge, try returning to a gift or skill you've given up on. Maybe you're good at making music but gave it up because you lost a contest or were criticized. It could be you have a sport you love, but stopped playing when you didn't make the team. Or maybe you used to enjoy serving others but walked away from volunteering or helping out when you felt overlooked.

Don't be afraid to jump back in! When we might wonder if God has brought something to an end, we could have given up too soon.
