DAY 10 | What the Resurrection Means to Me

Thanks to the finished work of Jesus on the cross and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in your life, your identity shifts from a slave to sin to a cherished child of God. The presence of Christ's Spirit lives within you! Believe it! Embrace it! It brings life, righteousness, and a new relationship with God.

As His child, you are invited to approach Him intimately, calling Him Abba, Father. This is a term of endearment and closeness that reflects the deep, personal relationship you now have with your heavenly Father. The resurrection also means that Jesus is for you, not against you. How encouraging. No matter what you face in this world, you can know that God is for you, on your side, with you, and helping you. He assures you that you have all the power you need to live a life that honors Him.

As His child, you are also an heir with Christ and will share in His inheritance in heaven. Isn't that amazing? The resurrection of Jesus makes all the difference in the world. Your inheritance is secure, and it is far greater than anything this world can offer.

GUIDED PRAYER:

Abba, Father, thank You for adopting me as Your child and for the privilege of calling You my Dad. Strengthen me to embrace my identity in You and to live as an heir of Your heavenly kingdom. I look forward to sharing in Christ’s glory and pray for the courage to endure every trial before me with His strength and for His sake.
