Unity Paul asks the church in Corinth the searching question, “Is Christ divided?” (1 Cor. 1:13). Sadly, in the first-century church, each one had his own faction, each one was right in his own eyes, each sensed his own unique destiny in the Lord. Well, here it is. The challenges we face today are no different. The adversary still attempts to strip the power of the Body of Christ by separating believers. It is our love for the Lord and His love in us for brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ that create an unshakable house. The differences of tradition, style, and ministry focus reflect our uniqueness in Christ. Our love, acceptance, and encouragement for others in the Body of Christ is the verification of His love at work in us. Let us daily allow the love of God to grow our hearts bigger, making room for the family of God to grow ever stronger.
