Day Six 

Welcome to our Daily Devotional for our new series This Is Us - During this series, we are going to journey through our Freedom Church DNA.  Some of you may know that DNA is like the secret code inside you - the thing that makes you, well, you!  You may also know that God created us in His image and wants us to live our best life

This week we are looking at our Freedom DNA -  Relevant to our Time and Changeling, let's look at Changeling and how God changed Saul to Paul and helped Paul to tell others about how wonderful God’s love is. 

Changeling

We are on a constant journey of transformation and personal freedom to become more like Jesus. We refuse to get stuck in our ways, taking individual responsibility for our learning and growth. 

READ:

‘A Changed Man’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 488-493) or in Acts 9

God changed Saul’s name to Paul - he was a new man. 

God changed Paul’s heart and Paul changed how he lived - Paul loved God and all God’s people.  Paul was a Changleing! 

ASK:

Can you see how loving God, learning more about Him, and growing in our love for Him, help us to love others too?   Can you think of some ways you can show others God’s love today?  You are a Changeling!   

REMEMBER:

So God created human beings in his image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female - Genesis 1:27

SAY:

God created me, 

Magnificent you can see. 

Every cell and part, 

Were designed in His heart. 

From the beginning of creation,

Every clan, tribe and nation. 

Made in His image, 

With purpose, love and to encourage. 

Whatever come what may, 

This is my DNA!
