vs 1 

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High.

I “abide” under the “shadow” of the Almighty.

I tarry under the shade of the Almighty.

I dwell under the defense of the Almighty.

I endure under the fortification* of the Almighty.

I lie all night under the guard* of the Almighty.

I lodge under the security* of the Almighty.

I stay permanently under the defense of the Almighty.

vs 2 

I say of the Lord, “He is MY refuge and MY fortress;
You are MY God, in You I trust.
