Casting Vision Like Nehemiah보기

Casting Vision Like Nehemiah - Part III
Nehemiah’s vision for rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem is only two verses long, but it identifies four elements helpful to us in our own vision-casting opportunities. The third element is to make an emotional appeal.
People typically get behind a project based on their emotional connection to the project.
In Nehemiah 2:17 Nehemiah said, "You see the bad situation we are in, that Jerusalem is desolate and its gates burned by fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no longer be a reproach."
Nehemiah appealed emotionally by reminding them they were in a bad situation that had been shameful and disgraceful to them.
If you are casting vision, look for why your audience should care and appeal to them on an emotional level.
Questions for Reflection:
- Why do you think some business leaders fail to make the emotional connection to their problem and proposed solution?
- Advertisers appeal to audiences on an emotional level all the time. Can you think of an effective advertisement that appeals to audiences emotionally? (Example: Hallmark. When you care enough to send the very best.)
- What are some of the emotional appeals you could use for your own vision casting opportunities?
묵상 소개

There are 66 verses about casting vision in the Bible. Arguably one of the most effective vision casters in the Bible was Nehemiah, a Jewish leader who convinced the Jews to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem in the 5th Century B.C. Although Nehemiah’s vision casting is only two verses long, it has four elements that are crucial to today’s business leader. This Bible reading plan looks at those four elements.
