Intercessionಮಾದರಿ

Living as an Intercessor
Jesus’ prayer life was the foundation of His power. Before He chose the twelve, healed the sick, or faced the cross, He prayed. His public strength came from private intercession.
If we want to walk in His footsteps, we must take up the same posture. Intercession is not for “special” believers; it’s the calling of every follower of Christ. It’s how we participate in His ministry of love and redemption.
Through intercession, we:
- Strengthen others’ faith like Jesus did for Peter.
- Push back the enemy's plans.
- Prepare hearts to receive the gospel.
- Become channels of God’s mercy.
Before you serve, preach, or help someone, pray for them. Name them before God. Stand in the gap for those who don’t yet know how to stand for themselves.
And remember, Jesus is praying alongside you. Your name is written on His prayer list, marked with eternal love:
“I love you. Everything will be alright. I am praying for you.”
Let’s live with this same heart, interceding for families, leaders, nations, and the world.
Bible Reading: John 17:9–26; 1 Timothy 2:1–3
Reflection Question:
- How can you build a daily rhythm of interceding for others?
- What situations or people need you to stand in the gap today?
