Archeological evidence exists that proves the Bible is true.

In Genesis 19:24, Scripture tells us that the Lord rained down fire and brimstone out of the sky on Sodom and Gomorrah. The word “brimstone” means “balls of sulfur.” Recent archeological excavations were made of the site where experts believe Sodom and Gomorrah once stood. During the excavation, large balls of sulfur (brimstone) were found all over the ruins of the ancient city. Excavators found melted pottery and melted mudbricks, indicating that the entire area was subject to intense fire. This discovery is significant because many of the melted artifacts were not flammable, meaning that even a wildfire could not have caught those items on fire.

As archeologists excavate biblical sites, they are overwhelmed by the precise accuracy of the biblical accounts of past events.

These accuracies show that since the Bible can be trusted historically, we can trust that it was indeed written and preserved by God for us today!
