Fully Human, Fully God... Wait, What?

What do you think of when you read this Scripture?

Consider the incredible wisdom of God! Who could have imagined that a child born in such humility and obscurity was actually Almighty God, purposed to save the world?

Imagine being there, seeing baby Jesus, fully human and fully God, not yet comprehending the life-changing mission He would complete in His short time on earth. This Scripture speaks to the wonder of this.

Jesus, as a human, is a gift to us. He has lived a life on earth, and so He can understand our weakness, our pain, and our experiences. He also shows us how to live! He shows us how to love, how to minister, how to have faith, and how to see God’s Kingdom come.

Jesus as God is also a gift! He is Mighty God, King of Kings, Saviour of the World. He came to establish God’s Kingdom in a way that will never end. Fully human and fully God, the gift that speaks to our present and our future.
