A simple way to reflect on your spiritual health is to ask: “How’s your connection with God?”

Think about how a TV works. When we press the remote, we don’t stop to consider how the picture gets to the screen. Behind the scenes, a broadcaster sends out signals through a tower. Our TV receives those signals and converts them into images and sound. But sometimes, the signal drops. And almost always, the issue isn’t with the broadcaster—it’s with the receiver.

In the same way, God is always transmitting. He’s constant. But we need to check our spiritual “reception” and make sure we’re tuned in to His frequency.

Here are some practical ways to strengthen your spiritual health:

1. Build a real relationship with God – Talk to Him honestly and often.

2. Feed your spirit daily – Just like physical health, spiritual health needs nourishment. Read the Word.

3. Be present – When you meet with God, give Him your full attention.

4. Connect with others – Fellowship, gratitude, and love help keep your spirit alive.

5. Grow spiritual fruit – Are love, joy, peace, and patience evident in your life?

6. Share your story – Tell others what God has done in your life.

Spiritual health isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. Keep checking your signal, stay tuned in, and let God guide your life.

Do you ever feel like life’s out of balance—juggling family, work, and faith until you’re exhausted? Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 that God wants us whole in spirit, soul, and body. Instead of juggling, think like a plate spinner—giving each area just enough care to keep it moving. With God’s help, we can stay steady by tending to five key areas: physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, and financial. True balance isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about being intentional and letting God bring peace and order to every part of your life.
