Hello Fear: I’m Here to Conquer Youಮಾದರಿ

Walking Boldly into Freedom from Fear
Mary Magdalene was freed by Jesus from a life tormented by seven demons (Luke 8:2). That deep spiritual freedom encounter transformed her into a bold disciple who was the first to proclaim Jesus’ resurrection when many had fled (John 19:25).
Mary’s story is one of profound change. That change restored her dignity and identity. This was total, radical liberation. What once tormented and kept her in bondage was forever behind her. That freedom helped shape the rest of her life. She in turn used her resources to support Jesus’s ministry and remained faithful.
Even in the darkest moment after Jesus’ crucifixion, when grief could have paralyzed her, in John 20, she remained close. It was this devotion that positioned her to be the first one to see Jesus risen in verse 16, Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
Fear and oppression no longer defined her. 2 Corinthians 3:17 reminds us that“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” While traveling with Jesus over the course of his ministry, Mary learned that true freedom is not an absence of chains. She learned that it’s a very active walk with the One who set you free and that freedom is complete. Even when fears, lies, or past pains try to reattach themselves, you have the authority to stand firm because Jesus has already had the last word.
As you are walking out of this fear and into the purpose of the divine, tell yourself that your past and your fears don’t have control over you. I can’t tell you how many times I have been in this place in life. Reminding myself of this truth gives me the ability to clear my mind and my heart.
I encourage you to ask God to show you the specific areas where you can walk forward in that same bold freedom as Mary. Your Freedom is your identity. Look in the mirror, and remind yourself as you move forward, you are bold, brave, and determined, knowing Jesus has declared you free. Let fear know it no longer has a home in you. The Holy Spirit is the one who has that position. Today, choose to live like someone who is free indeed.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for making me free indeed. I decree and declare that every chain of fear is broken in Your name. I embrace the freedom You purchased for me and will live boldly because of it. As I am embracing the freedom, teach me to live like someone who is truly free, no longer held back by fear or my past. Help me embrace this new chapter of bold, courageous living, knowing that my future is secure in You. In Your Name I Pray. Amen.
