Waiting in Anticipation, Christ's Burial

Have you ever experienced the tension of waiting and hoping for something to come, trusting in faith? Imagine the disciples—dispersed, confused, and disillusioned. The One they believed to be the coming Messiah was gone. Some returned to their previous vocations, doing what they knew. But others clung to hope, even as their own hands prepared His body for burial. Though He lay lifeless in their arms, could it truly be that He would live again? Often, faith is the only evidence we have, and we must cling to God's word while waiting for it to manifest in what we can see. Take heart today as you wait; His word cannot return void, and we will inherit His promises through faith and patience.

Prayer: Father God, in the times of waiting on You, strengthen my faith and fill me with anticipation for Your resurrection power. Help me to find peace in Your presence and to trust in Your promises through all circumstances. Thank You that joy always comes in the morning. Amen.
