Prayer

Our journey with Jesus is all about staying steady in our personal relationship with Him. And just like any other relationship, our connection with Jesus stays strong when we talk to each other. When we make prayer important, when we set aside time to talk to Jesus and listen for His direction, we will see our relationship with Him grow stronger. Prayer isn’t about saying the right things or sounding like we have it all together; it’s being honest with God about what we need from Him, how we feel in times of joy and struggle, and sharing how much He means to us.

Take this question to an adult in your home: What can we ask Jesus to help our family through today?

Prayer:

“God, thank You for sending Jesus to the world. Not only did He die for our forgiveness, He helps us know You! Please be with us as our family faces new challenges and struggles today. We know there is nothing You can’t help us overcome! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
