30 Day Battle-Ready Challenge - Leadership for Christian Menಮಾದರಿ

Day 25: Protect the Weak
Reflection: Growing up with both parents, I never thought much about those who didn’t share that experience. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized how blessed I truly was—and how many lives are impacted by a broken world without the presence of a loving mother and father.
What hit me the hardest was the sheer number of young men growing up without a father. That reality became personal in my own church when I met a young man whose dad had passed away before he was even born. We connected immediately, and I faced a choice: Would I just enjoy seeing him occasionally at church, or would I step in and be intentional?
After praying, it was clear what God wanted. I reached out to his grandmother, and soon we were hanging out regularly—mostly doing things like playing sports, but always finding ways to talk about God and what it means to live as a man of faith.
Over the years, that relationship has grown. Now, as he navigates high school, our conversations go deeper—into the real struggles young men face. And every time we talk, I’m reminded: battle-ready men must actively look for opportunities to stand in the gap.
Here’s the amazing part: when you pour into someone who needs guidance, the blessing you receive will match, if not exceed, the one you give. God’s Word calls us to protect, shield, and fight for the vulnerable. Let’s not miss that calling.
Mission: Every battle-ready man needs a few “Timothys” in his life. This isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Field Order: Look around. Find a young man who needs a spiritual mentor and take the first step. Yes, it’s scary—but the impact could be greater than you imagine.
