Facing Fear—Finding Freedomಮಾದರಿ

Day 3: The Story That Speaks (Testimony)
Before the attack, Jameson Jr. had tried to share Jesus with a neighbor—but the neighbor was not interested. We told him, “That’s okay, son. Sometimes you need to let your life speak before your words do. Be a friend first, and when the time is right, speak the truth with love.”
Then came the attack. Everything changed.
Suddenly, his wounds opened doors his words never could. People leaned in—doctors, nurses, total strangers—because they saw a miracle. His pain became his platform. His scars became his story.
That day on the water, we witnessed the supernatural. Jameson Jr. was riding so high in the water, more buoyant than a pool noodle could float him, it looked like an invisible hand was holding him up. Later, he said, “Jesus told me I was going to be okay.” On the boat, as we raced 9 miles to shore, he saw someone “on fire” standing on the boat. “I knew it was Jesus,” he said. “I wish I could draw it.”
Then came the words that amazed us:
“It was the worst and best day of my life.”
That’s the power of testimony. When we follow Jesus, even our suffering can become a story of salvation. God takes what the enemy meant for harm and turns it into healing—for us and for others.
And here’s the truth:
To make a difference in the world, we must be different from the world. Your story, when surrendered to God, becomes a tool for transformation—not because it’s easy, but because it’s real.
Prayer: Father, thank You for using my story—even the painful parts—to show others who You are. Help me live in a way that is different from the world so I can make a difference in it. Let my life speak of Your goodness and power. Amen.
