No. 7 – The Bible describes a supernatural and extraordinary realm

Hebrews 2:4 (BSB)“This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will.”

The reality is that when we, as humans, live in a personal relationship with God, we will inevitably experience, sooner or later, the supernatural and divine reality. This includes signs, wonders, miracles, healings, deliverance from demons, dreams, visions, and prophecy. Studying history, observing the world around us, and hearing about these occurrences daily make it impossible to deny their existence. I have witnessed these phenomena firsthand; I have seen people delivered from demons and healed when we pray for them. Experiencing the supernatural makes it impossible to ignore its existence. This aligns with what we read in the Bible and also corresponds with extra-Biblical evidence of its reality.

No. 8 - I believe because of the observable reality of the work of the Holy Spirit

Acts 1:8 (ESV)“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses.”

Romans 15-18-19 (NASB)"Resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit."

Being a Christian means being indwelt by the Holy Spirit. My personal testimony confirms that my experience of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit aligns with what the Bible says. Often, I would preach with little effect, while at other times, there is remarkable and inexplicable power in the sermon, resulting in extraordinary fruit. This can only be attributed to the work of God the Holy Spirit. I have seen people healed through prayer—no human being can heal anyone; it is solely the power of God, the Holy Spirit at work.

Without being indwelled, empowered, filled, and anointed by the Holy Spirit, we cannot live the Christian life. Christians are people who have received a new, supernatural spirit. They are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who guides them and empowers them to do supernatural works through His indwelling.
