Thy Kingdom Come

8 ನ 5 ದಿನ

“Our Father… Give us today our daily bread” - learning to trust in God’s provision.

This line from “the Lord’s Prayer” might seem the most down-to-earth of them all. But it’s here where we learn the deepest trust. Jesus did not teach us to ask, “for a year in advance” – only for “today”. That doesn’t mean God is against planning. That means He wants us to trust Him every day.

This 'bread' is not mere food. It’s all that is needed indeed: health, tranquility, job, strength, emotional stamina, and wisdom. God knows what we need, even before we speak that out. But prayer is an opportunity to see His care and learn to live not in anxiety, but in gratitude.

There is no shame in this prayer. To ask is an act of humbleness and at the same time an act of profound trust: I believe that my Father sees me and will never forget about my needs.

Question to ask yourself:

Can I truly trust God every day?
What do I try to control myself today instead of trusting Him?

God wants you to stop carrying it all yourself. Ask. Give Him all your pain, weariness, needs – tiny and huge. Let Him be your Father, Who takes care of you.

Let today’s prayers help you to remember that God never forgets anything you really need:

•Prayer for your own heart:
Father, give me all I need for the efficient spreading of Your Kingdom.

•Prayer for your close ones:
Father, take care of my friends’ needs, so that they will feel Your parental care.

•Prayer for the country:
Father, help us go through all the challenges of the war and restore the life of our country.

•Worship Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your care and concern for our lives.
