In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Dayಮಾದರಿ

UNLEASH THE LION CHASER WITHIN!
When you adopt a lion chaser’s mindset, your perspective shifts so that your problem becomes less significant and God’s greatness becomes more evident.
And remember, for this to occur, you must take risks. That is the essence of faith. Then you’re ready to seize the opportunity. But you have to be able to see it to seize it. That means you “keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). You have to listen to His still, small voice prompting you (1 Kings 19:12) and believe that He is setting you up for success.
So let me ask you: What lion is God calling you to chase?
Lock eyes with the lion. Why would God be putting it in front of you? What good thing might God have waiting for you on the other side of this challenge? Maybe there’s a lesson He wants you to learn or a blessing He wants to give you. Don’t just focus on the fear factor. Try to see the bigger picture.
What will you miss out on if you let your fears dictate your choices? Is being “safe” really worth it? Maybe God wants to show you something about yourself or Himself, but you’ll never know what it is unless you chase your lion. And once you have the lion cornered in the pit, you’ll discover that his roar is worse than his bite when you’ve got God on your side.
I’m convinced that many of us are one lion chase away from our dreams becoming reality. I can’t promise it will be a short chase or an easy chase. It will involve fear and uncertainty and risk. But where you end up in life really comes down to how you react when you cross paths with a lion.
What’s your first move? What can you do today to get a little closer to catching your lion? Remember this: your first step may be small, but that doesn’t make it inconsequential. As long as you’re following in the footsteps of Christ, each small step will be a giant leap.
