Storyteller: The Parables of Jesusಮಾದರಿ

Reflection Day
Today, you have the opportunity to catch up on reading and take time to reflect on what you have read and learned.
The Kingdom of God has arrived in Christ, fulfilling prophecy and establishing God’s reign. At present, His reign exists alongside the fading dominion of Satan. Our choice of allegiance, to the old or new kingdom, will shape our identity and determine our lives now and for eternity. Those of us who have trusted in Christ as King will be marked by a distinct change from who we once were to who we are becoming, where fruit will grow in keeping with His Kingdom.
A few questions to consider…
Which kingdom is currently shaping my identity?
Is there evidence of God’s Kingdom fruit on display in my life?
What are some ways I can cultivate a heart that is consistently receptive to His Word?
How does a greater understanding of God’s character and His mission in the world give me a greater vision for my calling and purpose?
A prayer moving forward…
Jesus, help me read and consider Your parables with a fresh perspective. Give me the ability to live out the truths You are teaching me. Amen.

Jesus is the greatest storyteller of all time. His parables invite us into the larger narrative God has been writing since the beginning. Like a beautiful song or a piece of art that stirs something deep within, these stories capture our imaginations and move our hearts. Through His parables Jesus reveals the character of God, the mission of His Kingdom, and the power of His truth to transform our hearts and to invite us to join Him in His redemptive work in the world.
