A Heart After God: Living From the Inside Outಮಾದರಿ

You learn a lot about a person by how they respond when the heat is on. You can often tell what’s really going on in someone’s heart by how they respond when things don’t go their way, when they feel overlooked, or when life gets hard. It’s easy to smile when everything is good, but the real reflection of your character, of who you are inside, often shows up in the quiet moments and the tough ones.
Much like a mirror shows your face, the people around you, and the way you interact with them, reflect what’s happening in your heart. If you find yourself constantly frustrated, bitter, or cynical, it might be time to check the root. What wounds haven’t been healed? What beliefs are you holding onto that don’t align with who you truly want to be? At the same time, when love, patience, and kindness flow from us, even when no one’s watching, it’s evidence of a heart that's been tended to, refined, and shaped with intentional care.
Think it Over
What do your recent words or reactions reveal about what’s going on in your heart?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, when I look into the mirror of my life, let the reflection show love, humility, and growth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
