Elisha asked her, 'What do you have in your house?' 'Your servant has nothing there at all,' she said, 'except a small jar of olive oil.'"

Nothing at all... except.

God's Economy Runs on "Excepts"

This widow almost missed her miracle. She was so focused on what she didn't have that she nearly dismissed the very thing God wanted to multiply.

Sound familiar? We do this constantly:

• "I have no special skills... except that thing everyone asks me to help with"
• "I don't know anything valuable... except that problem I figured out last year"
• "I have no business experience... except that side thing I do for friends"

Your "except" is not an afterthought.

It's the seed of your breakthrough.

The 5 Seeds You're Probably Overlooking

After watching God multiply ordinary people's "excepts," I've noticed five categories everyone has but most ignore:

Seed 1: Your Learned Lessons - What life taught you the hard way that others are still struggling with

Seed 2: Your Developed Skills - What you do without thinking that others find difficult

Seed 3: Your Overcome Obstacles - What you've conquered that others are currently facing

Seed 4: Your Created Solutions - The systems you've rigged to make life work

Seed 5: Your Unique Access - The resources, connections, or opportunities you take for granted

Why This Matters More Than You Think

Here's what's wild about the widow's story: God didn't create oil from nothing. He multiplied what she already had. The miracle required her participation, her vessels, her oil.

Your financial breakthrough works the same way.

God probably won't drop money from heaven, but He'll more likely multiply what's already in your hands - if you'll stop calling it "nothing."

So today, complete this sentence three times: "I don't have anything special, except..."
