What Is My Calling?ಮಾದರಿ

God completes His own work
“And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified.” (Romans 8:30 ESV)
In the above verse, Paul speaks of people who are called by God. That calling is part of God's plans for their lives. Even before they were born, they were predestined by God to be His children. Therefore, they were called: they were introduced to the message of salvation. When they accepted that calling by faith, they were justified: God no longer saw them as sinners, but as forgiven and renewed people. However, life as a Christian was not easy. They faced misunderstanding and opposition from those around them. Some were arrested and killed because of their faith. This raised the question of whether they would be able to persevere. How encouraging it is therefore to read that even their “glorification” was already fixed in God's plan. Even though this glorification had not yet been realized, it was already firmly decided. It was therefore an established fact that these believers would live forever in God's glory, shining like the sun in their Father's Kingdom (see Matthew 13:43).
God is also completing His work in your life. Have you been called by Him and have you accepted this invitation? Then you may firmly trust that He will also let you share in His splendor and glory.

Christians often talk about their ‘calling’ as an assignment they have received from God, for example to go into missions. They want to serve the Lord by committing themselves to His Kingdom. Hearing this can make you wonder: What actually is my calling? What does God want me to do? This reading plan gives you answers from the Bible.
