Unapologetically Sold Out: 7 Days of Prayers for Millennials to Live Whole-Heartedly Committed to Jesus Christಮಾದರಿ

Introduction

“Sold out” is a term that is oftentimes used to describe an event. When an event is sold out, it means there’s no room for another person to enter an establishment. It is at capacity. What if we were so sold out to Jesus that we didn’t have ANY room in our hearts for anything or anyone else?

What if our love and wholehearted devotion to the Lord left NO room for idols, left no room for sinful relationships, left no room for coveting the life of another, left no room for jealousy or bitterness? What if our entire lives were centered on Jesus? So easily do we give our hearts to men, or to women, but we struggle with giving our hearts to the Lord. As millennials, we have allowed our hearts and minds to be consumed by the things of this world and have even fallen head over heels for many aspects of it. But the word of God is clear, that if we as believers love the world, then the love of the Father is not in us.

Let’s spend the next seven days praying bold prayers that will spark or rekindle a fire in us to live wholeheartedly for CHRIST.

A fire that cannot be quenched.

Day: 1 Prayer to be “All In”

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you and praise you, as it is only by your Grace that we are saved, not anything that we have done, nor based on our own merit or strength.

I decree that this is the year that we will make a decision to wholeheartedly serve you, Lord, and no one else.

That “all in” will become more than just a hashtag or trend, but a new way of living.

Those of us who once wavered and walked the line, compromising our faith to please others, will be delivered from people pleasing, delivered from living for the approval of others. Those of us who have been struggling with identity issues that have caused us to run into the arms of women and men, this will be the year that we run into the arms of you, Father.

Help us to live a life where we are fully committed to you.

I pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, amen.
