Day 3: Our Marriage

Scriptures: Matthew 19:6 ; Ephesians 5:32; Proverbs 5:18-19; Ecclesiastes 9:9

Decree:

Matthew 19:6 (ERV)

So they are no longer two, but one. God has joined them together, so no one should separate them.

The Bible says in Ephesians 5:32 that the two shall become one flesh, and that this is a mystery.

Marriage is a deep mystery, filled with marvelous secrets that many of us don’t know. Your husband and you are one before God!

Prayer:

May my husband and I become united in every sense of the word. May we truly become one flesh — thinking alike, talking alike, dreaming alike, parenting alike, praying alike.

Nothing and no one will separate us, in Jesus’ name. No family, no friend, no situation, not even ourselves will break our unity.

Our home is unified! As Adam and Eve were naked before one another, so we are — open and transparent before one another.

Proverbs 5:18-19 (NIV)

May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer — may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated with her love.

The NKJV says: Let your wife be a fountain of blessings for you.

I decree that I will be a fountain of blessings for my husband and our entire family. Because of me, his story is different. He will be honoured wherever he goes because of me (Proverbs 31).

I will satisfy (insert husband’s name) always! I will know how and when. He will be intoxicated with my love forever.

No strange woman will satisfy my husband. I ask that heaven protect my husband from evil company, in Jesus’ name.

Ecclesiastes 9:9 (NLT)

Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you under the sun. The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil.

My husband will love me all the days of his life — not some, but all. We will live happily together, not grudgingly. I am (insert husband’s name)’s reward.
