DAY 3 | GOD'S PRESENCE IN TRIALS

While we often wish to avoid trials, God sometimes delivers us through them. And these are the times when God does tremendous work in your life, teaching you perseverance and patience. You are never alone in your trials. Know that God has promised to be with you in every trial. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. When Jesus says you are going to the other side, you can be sure that no matter what you face along the way, you will make it to the other side.

Reflect on the imagery of today’s passage – passing through waters, walking through fire, crossing over to the other side. What "waters" or "fires" are you facing right now? How does God's promise to be with you and get you through change your perspective on these challenges? Ask Him for the faith to trust that He is working, even when you can't see or understand His ways.

GUIDED PRAYER:

Almighty God, thank You for the promise to always be with me. Father, I invite You into the situation that I am facing today. Teach me perseverance. Help me bear my trials with patience and grace, trusting that You are with me every step of the way and working in ways I don’t see.
