Congratulations on completing this plan - committing your time to 'Man Up' in these ways will change your life forever. Here in these verses, we see this concept that we are able to choose our family – what better place to pick from than the church of Christ? Men treat their friends like brothers.

Instead of asking what is the smallest amount of effort we can extend and still have friends, we go above and beyond. This is where strong friendships are built, and accountability is found – where men put in more than their share to keep friendships tight. Go the extra mile to honor your friends.

Practical Steps

1. We can’t honor our friends if we don’t know what they need to feel honored. This requires us to take our eyes off ourselves and focus on the needs of others. Spend this week paying close attention to how your friends react in your interactions, looking for ways to show honor and appreciation to them.
