God's Promises About Adventure

In the book The Secret Garden, a young girl discovers a hidden passage in a wall. The passage leads to the most beautiful garden she has ever seen. And there she spends her days in wonder.

Following the Lord is like having Him lead you through secret passages into the most beautiful and unexpected places. In Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT), God says, “Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Life is never dull when Jesus is involved.

It may seem more convenient or simpler to do whatever feels good at the moment. But there’s no simpler joy than to rest in God and let Him take you on His one-of-a-kind adventures.

Every now and then, God taps us on the shoulder to take an adventure with him. He invites us to step out in faith and take a risk with him by doing something we wouldn’t normally do; something that we would absolutely fail at if God didn't go with us.
