Why We Pray

The disciples witnessed Jesus perform miracles, teach with authority, and demonstrate unparalleled compassion. Yet, they specifically asked Him to teach them to pray. Why? Because they recognized that prayer was the foundation of His relationship with the Father. Prayer is more than presenting requests; it's about building intimacy with God, aligning our hearts with His will, and participating in His redemptive work. It's an invitation to connect deeply with the One who knows and loves us unconditionally.
