Walking in the Spirit | Devotional for Womenಮಾದರಿ

Called Into Light
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.
Genesis 1:3-4 (NLT)
In the absence of darkness there is light: light to give your faith sight, to lead you when darkness rolls in and tries to confuse or overwhelm you. I give you light to comfort you with understanding through My eyes and not your own. I am the One who lights your way, makes you to lie down in green pastures and leads you beside quiet waters. I will restore your soul. What you are facing now is just a shadow. I am with you—to help you, to comfort you, to save you.
It’s tempting to believe that when the obstacles of life threaten to take you under, and your faith is held to the fire longer than you think it can withstand, that it’s all over and there's no hope. But I have given you light to know truth. If you will only trust in the promises, you will see God’s glory. You need to rely on My light to illuminate what is good from what is bad, what is right from what is wrong, what is good from what is evil, what is moral from what is immoral, and what is holy from what is worldly. I am within you. You do not walk in darkness, only sometimes through it. It holds no power over you; do not believe the lies that it does.
Called to Truth
This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
1 John 1:5 (NLT)
