Reflection: Paul reminds us that we are to lead in a manner worthy of our calling with humility and patience. Unity requires us to seek understanding for those with whom we lead. How can you contribute to unity in your life this week?
Prayer Focus: Pray for unity within your community and ask God to help you be a peacemaker.

James and John enticed their mother to ask Jesus if they could rule with Him. Jesus took the disciples aside and said, "Gentile leaders lord it over their subjects, not so with you." He was illustrating that leadership in the Kingdom of God would be different. As men, we are called to lead, but we must focus our attitudes toward humility and servanthood. The more we focus on humility, the more we act like Jesus Christ. Participate in these mandates with friends who can hold you accountable as you focus on developing yourself into a Godly man.
