A Life-Changing Invitation to Peace
What does Jesus offer to those who follow Him? We tend to think our lives will be easier when we accept Jesus. We hear about love and peace, and while that is true, our version of love and peace may be different from God's version. The version of peace known by the world is very circumstantial whereas God's peace is deep-rooted. When we accept Jesus, the world does not change. What changes is how we look at the world. We assume our lives have to go a certain way to be happy. What does that look like? Judah Smith elaborates on how accepting Christ will change your life for the better.
Following, accepting, and believing in Jesus gives you a place in the family of God. You do not have to feel lost or alone in this life. Jesus invites you to come to Him and start a relationship with Him because He wants to get to know you. This is where we find true peace. Learning about this love and experiencing the peace of God is what propels us to go and tell others about Him. Sharing the love of Jesus Christ is life-changing for you, and those with whom you share.
Application Questions:
- Have you experienced true peace through Jesus?
- What would you say to someone if they asked you about Jesus?
