We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to Godಮಾದರಿ

Day 4 of 365
In Genesis 12, God calls Abram to leave his home and journey to an unknown land, promising to make him a great nation. Abram’s obedience reflects deep faith—he trusts God’s promise even without knowing the details. In Matthew 4, Jesus is led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where He faces temptation but stands firm on God’s Word, showing His complete dependence on the Father.
Both Abram’s journey and Jesus’s wilderness experience remind us that faith often means stepping into the unknown, trusting in God’s promises. The Holy Spirit is our guide on this journey, just as He strengthened Abram and led Jesus. He empowers us to walk in obedience, even when the path ahead is unclear.
Today, consider any areas where God may be calling you to step out in faith. Ask the Holy Spirit to increase your trust and guide your steps, knowing that God’s plans are always greater than what we can see.
