Journey With Jesus 365ಮಾದರಿ

In John 18, we witness the unfolding of events leading to Jesus' arrest and trial, marking the beginning of His passion. The chapter opens with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He is betrayed by Judas and arrested by Roman soldiers and temple guards. Despite the looming threat, Jesus remains composed and deliberate, willingly stepping forward to identify Himself, a testament to His control over the situation. In a moment of conflict, Peter reacts impulsively by cutting off the ear of the high priest's servant, Malchus, demonstrating the disciples' struggle to comprehend Jesus' path of non-violence. As Jesus is taken away, He is brought before Annas and then Caiaphas, the high priest, where false accusations and interrogations begin. Through these trials, Jesus' silence and calm demeanor highlight His commitment to fulfilling His mission despite the unjust nature of the punishments. Meanwhile, Peter denies knowing Jesus three times, fulfilling Jesus' earlier prediction.
How do we respond when faced with situations that challenge our faith and convictions? How can we find the strength to stand firm in our beliefs, as Jesus did?
