What did Jesus tell his disciples after His resurrection?
Three days after Jesus was crucified, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James went to the tomb. When they arrived, they saw that the stone was rolled away. Inside the tomb, a young man clothed in a white garment spoke to them. He said to them not to be afraid, "ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified, and he has risen." The women went out quickly and trembled in amazement. Jesus later appeared to his disciples and instructed them: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." The resurrection of Jesus proved that He had conquered death and is the Son of God.
