God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)ಮಾದರಿ

1 Timothy — Day 5
Paul closes his first letter to Timothy with instructions on how to treat people, be content, and live a godly life. He even directly calls on slaves to serve their masters well, whether the master is a Christian or not. Paul’s reasoning applies to us all—"so that God’s name and our teaching may not be slandered.”
When people see Christians behaving badly, treating others poorly, or blurring the lines of right and wrong, they aren’t going to cut us a little slack and assume we’re having a tough day. Instead, they’re far more likely to mock our beliefs and use our actions as proof of what they don’t like about God. That doesn’t mean we have to be perfect all the time. But we can ask the Holy Spirit to help us represent Him well and apologize when we make mistakes.
